Synopsis

From the composer of WICKED comes a musical about the hopes, dreams, and fears of the American worker. Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often overlooks: the schoolteacher, parking lot attendant, office worker, waitress, trucker, fireman, housewife, and even the CEO. In this reimagined production, Theatre Horizon holds a mirror up to our own community - and the workers who shape our local landscape. Featuring 6 actors playing 26 roles and a rock-and-roll score including songs by James Taylor, Working is a thrilling ride through the lives of everyday heroes that's simply impossible to forget.

This production will be performed in the beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre of the Upper Merion Middle School at 450 Keebler Road, King of Prussia.
